Social Development of Aggressive Behavior in a Captive Group Japanese Monkey (Macaca fuscata).
Rizaldi
I am studying about how monkeys acquire aggressive behavioral patterns and how does it develop from early period of age.
Historical Change of The Distribution of Large- and Medium-sized Mammals in West Sumatra, Indonesia
Since habitat destruction increases rapidly in Indonesia, existence of the mammals needs to be monitored. How species distribution change over the time concern to species vulnerability and intensity of habitat destruction? Baseline data was collected by road survey and direct interviews to the local peoples.
Stone handling and object manipulation of Japanese macaques (Macaca fuscata) in the captive Takahama troop at PRI, Inuyama.
Charmalie Nahallage
Since June 2003,I have been studying the Takahama troop and Arashiyama A troop, to investigate the demographic, environmental and social factors that effect the stone handling behavior. In November started studying the PRI Rhesus troop for inter species comparison. Use focal sampling method to determine the diurnal and seasonal variation of the behavior.
