Cooperative study and presentation at International workshop in INPA, Brazil

Report: Tadamichi MORISAKA

Date: 2012/10/21 - 2012/10/30

I gave the oral presentation entitled "Mikura Island: Rare field for underwater observation of wild dolphins" at 1st JSPS International network workshop on tropical biodiversity conservation held in INPA with Mai Sakai (WRC, Kyoto University) and Kazunobu Kogi (Mikurashima Tourist Information). I went Amazon river as the field excursion tour to see Boto (Amazon river dolphin) and Tucuxi. After that, I went Ecopark Lodge to see tropical rainforest and monkeys (Uakari, Woolly monkey), and Botanical Garden in Adolpho Ducke reserve to see tropical rainforest and ecotourism. Also I discussed future collaborative studies with Dr. Marta Cremer during these activities.
