Study on reproduction of wild Borneo Orangutan

 On 13th February I visited Mr. Peter Malim of Sabah Wildlife Department to discuss our future research plan. I stayed at Danum Valley Conservation Area from 14th February to 17th February and followed orangutans for 2 days. I checked three mothers still kept their babies born in 2010 and 2011. I confirmed two estrus females were still healthy without sign of pregnancy. Therefore I almost accomplished my purpose in this field trip.
