Feeding ecology of Bornean orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus morio)

 First, I visited on 10 September 2012 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Then, I conducted field research on orangutans during between 11 and 17 September in Kuala Sungai Danum Research Station (KSDRS) in Danum Valley Conservation Area. I was getting the information that orangutan named Lina gave birth to a baby onJuly 2012. I and my assistants were looking for mother and baby three-days, wefound mother (Lina) and baby on the fourth day at last. In addition, I observedtwo pairs of mothers with babies and two juveniles. On 19 September, I had a meeting with counterparts in Kota Kinabalu, and I went back to Japan on 20.
