Poster presentation at 41st Neuroscience Meeting, and collecting information for data analysis and training

Report: NEJIME MASAFUMI

Date: 2011/11/11 - 2011/11/18

I attended the 41st Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuroscience (Washington D. C. ) and presented a poster entitled "Differential activities of monkey lateral prefrontal neurons between decisions based on short-term and long-term memories". We reported that many neurons in the lateral prefrontal cortex of the monkey showed differential activities between task conditions demanding short-term memory and long-term memory for behavioral choice. I had many meaningful discussions with many researchers during the presentation time. In addition, I visited Dr. Hikosaka at National Eye Institute, NIH and discussed on issues of animal experiments including data analysis.
