Feasibility Study of establishing amicable relations between Kyoto University and Bhutan

We asked people in Bhutan about their notions that being selected as a biodiversity hot spot area, symbiosis with nature, friction between people and wildlife and so on.

Hereafter I write my findings briefly.

In Bhutan, practice of saving lives stay in the people's mind as Buddhism. When we visited the office of Royal Society for Protection of Nature, we found that the shortage of hand and fund is the biggest problem. I heard that available land for people in Bhutan is only 8% of the whole country. Therefore people may have an ambivalent view of wildlife. They have to protect crops, but they have to protect lives of animals.

This ambivalence deceptively simple, but this view is incorrect. The shortage of fund is inevitable.
I would therefore like to speculate and discuss some options in the future.
