HOPE reportNumber:20-047 Studies on the phyletic relationships of the Eurasian fossil cercopithecines using internal cranial anatomy Report:Takeshi D. Nishimura Date:2009/03/17 - 2009/03/21 I visited Professor JIN Changzu and Dr.
ZHANG Yingqi, Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology (IVPP), Academia Sinica, Beijing.
We examined the type specimen of Paradolichopithecus gansuensis (Early Pelistocene, Longdan, Gansu, China).
The maxilla specimen was scanned using a herical CT scanner at the Peking University People's Hospital, Beijing, to provide the fine scans for further examining its internal anatomy.
I observed the other cercopithecine fossils at the other localities of south China.
We discussed our collaboration developing further.
