Population genetic study on rhesus macaques in Bangladesh

We established good laboratory conditions at Department of Zoology, Jahangirnagar University to perform (1) PCR, (2) RFLP and (3) PAGE analyses for population genetic study of non-human primates in Bangladesh. We succeeded in analyzing DNA length polymorphism in the mtDNA D-loop region of rhesus macaques by using PCR-RFLP method in the laboratory.
