Attending congress of International Primatological Society and discussion of MHC-DRB research

Report: Miki Matsubara

Date:2008/08/02 - 2008/08/30

In the congress of International Primatological Society in Edinburgh, I presented about MHC-DRB polymorphism in captive Japanese macaques in the Primate Research Institute of Kyoto University. After the congress, I visited the University of Cambridge to discuss about the detail results of the study of MHC-DRB in Japanese macaques, and talked about another research, which related to conservation genetics in captive managements. I visited Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent to observe playing behaviours in captive western lowland gorillas.
