      There are three round tables : a meeting for wild life conservation, a meeting for zoo keepers, and a meeting for the use of internet home pages in zoos. All the participants can join the round tables, or you may organize your roundtables for free discussion. The rooms will be available. Please feel free to continue the discussions from the poster session if you want. There is also a business meeting for chimpanzee research and animal welfare.

SAGA (Support for African/Asian Great Apes)

     SAGA is a non-profit organization founded in 1998. This will be its second international meeting for research, conservation, and animal welfare on the African and Asian Great Apes. Most of the ape researchers working in Japan as well as zoo people, conservationists, and others will join the meeting. The person in charge of this satellite meeting is Testuro Matsuzawa. Please contact him for further details.
