HOPE reportNumber:19-039 To attend the 37th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience and present poster. Report:HIGAKI Sayuri Date:2007/11/03 - 2007/11/09 At the 37th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience held Nov. 3 to 7 in San Diego, I presented the poster titled "Menopause-related changes in the ERb in the hippocampal formation and entorhinal cortex of aged female Japanese macaques" as a first author, and mentioned the differences from the report of aged rats. It provided me an opportunity to discuss hormone-brain relationship with researchers using rodents to primates, especially Dr. Hof who studies estrogen actions to frontal cortex of macaques. I could experience the frontier of neuroscience where 35,000 researchers gathered in a hall.
