The carcasses of a mouse deer and an albino individual were dissected by myself and the chief surgeon of this zoo. The location of the salivary glands, the degree of development of the stomach of a new-born baby, and the anatomical characteristics of the albino individual were studied. There was also a discussion and exchange of information with the faculty staff of the Department of Zoology, Yangon University, on the biology, habits and the breeding behavior of the mouse deer.
