Fossil mammals from the Middle Miocene of Nachola, Northern Kenya

In Nairobi, I studied rhinocerotids and ruminants from the
Middle Miocene of Nachola and compared them to the ones from the other
sites in Kenya. In Paris, I compared the specimens of Nachola to the
Eurasian ones, and discussed faunas and palaeoenvironments in the Miocene
of Africa with Dr Martin Pickford, who is an expert on palaeontology in
Africa.
