Study on Social behaviors of Wild Borneo Orangutans ; focusing on males

During in March 2007, I could track and observe 5 resident orangutans. Total observation time was 57 hours. The encounter rate of orangutan was 31.4% in March.I succeeded in the recording of the sound of Long Call of flanged male. I was able to record the long call sound which flanged male was surprised and uttered during rest by the nest when the branch had fallen from on the head to the nest.
