How is the locomotion and posture?

Hopping
168KB

Both hindlimbs taking-off at the same time and landing.simultaneously like kangaroo's jumping. Infants and juveniles used hopping at the large and deep puddle.

Bipedal lunging 1
716KB

Catching a insect with bipedal standing and springing hindlimbs. Hindlimbs bear much more force than bipedal standing. Hands and trunk lunging out to the prey. The directions are variable depending on the place of the insect, e.g., upward, horizontally, and downward.

Bipedal lunging 2
1.6MB

Same to that mentioned above. But this file is very heavy that the monkey try to catch insects many times keeping bipedal standing posture.

Running with Bipedal-jumping 1
260KB

Jumping-up over the "grass sea" like a dolphin. The patas watched around while free-flight. This video was shot when the patas ran away from human.

Running with Bipedal-jumping 2
400KB

Another adult female is fleeing in the "grass sea".

Kicking a tree
204KB

Kick a tree after leaping-up with a strong kick on the ground by hindlimbs. This type of locomotion was observed when a adult male displayed, and when juvenile and adolescent monkeys played.

Presenting (odd quadrupedal walking and standing)
384KB

The female (small, in this side) is presenting to the male (big, back of her) walking with her .Her fourlimbs are flexed slightly. The lower part of face projecting. Lips are tightly closed. Distal part of her tail is bent more strongly than usual.
